I used to have an imagination, I know I did. I have old school papers with the craziest stories all written out...and on the top of the page, is MY name. I remember having to give short five minute talks during toastmaster about random stuff. I remember one story I created on the spot about a gun that would shoot hamburgers. Ah to have the imagination of a kid again.
Somewhere along the road of my life, I lost my imagination. I don't know if someone stepped on it and broke it or if I put it down for just a second and never picked it back up again. I've tried going back and remembering where I might have left it. Sadly, the road of life is a one way street and going backwards is not allowed.
I want my imagination back. I want wild and crazy stories to once again run wild in my mind. When my kids (we don't have any yet) ask me why grass is green or the sky is blue I want to be able to not only tell them the scientific but also wild, strange, and fun stories about balloons and underground worlds.
That is why I have decided to regrow my imagination. I lost mine and I can't buy another one so I have little choice but to regrow it. I figure that somewhere deep down inside I must still have a seed and if I grew one once, I can do it again!
